The Republic of Ireland combines adventure, history, culture, and entertainment into one fascinating place. Because of its geographical position, Italy has direct contacts with the main ethnic and cultural areas of old Europe (neo-Latin, Germanic, and Slav-Balkan areas) as well as, through North-African countries, with the world of Arab-Islamic civilisation. Consequently, while still anchored in the European and Western civilisation, Italy can be considered a natural link to those African and Asian countries which, bordering as they do on the same Mediterranean Sea, have shared historical events and cultural influences over many centuries.
The Netherlands is a small country with big character and a lot to explore. Jumping on a bike, like the locals, is one of the best ways to begin an adventure. And with the flat land, peddling around is a fairly easy task. Windmills and tulips line the laid-back countryside, while the fast-paced European lifestyle is easily spotted in the larger cities.
There are two official languages in the Netherlands. The first language, Dutch, is spoken by the vast majority of the residents. Frisian is the other official language and is spoken in the northern province of Friesland. It is very common for the people of the Netherlands to speak more than one language, with almost 70% of the population being proficient in English, 55–59% in German, and 19% in French.

English is the most common language spoken in Wales, but the Welsh language is a prominent feature of Welsh cultural identity and is still spoken by about 20% of the population. Attracted by luscious scenery and lower cost of living, many outsiders move to Wales every year. Although this has naturally influenced national identity, there is no lack of Welsh pride — especially when it comes to Rugby. Passionate Rugby fans enjoy home matches of the national Rugby teams in Cardiff ’s Millennium Stadium, a £110 million structure, considered to be the top sports arena in the UK.
